Le Collet is one of those family resorts with a good reputation. Its night ski area, one of the largest in Europe, attracts many skiers every Friday evening of the season and on Tuesdays during the winter school holidays.
The Le Collet ski area is divided into 3 sectors: Super Collet, Malatrait, Prérond. The highest part is Super Collet at 1650 m and the lowest is Malatrait at 1450 metres. Each of these areas is of different interest to skiers. The highest point of the resort is the top of Claran at 2090m and provides an exceptional panorama of the Isère, Savoie and Mont Blanc.
For those staying in the spa resort of Allevard-les-Bains, it is rather the summer and non-winter activities such as mushroom picking, hiking, mountain bike outings that will seduce during the period when the thermal baths of Allevard-Les-Bains are open between April and October.
